OUR TEAM
Meet the people that are the heart & soul of the Lyft Fitness Community.
Kris Myers, Personal Trainer for Special Populations and Group Ex Instructor
Kris is a Certified Personal Trainer specializing in Special Populations, has studied Myofascial Release and Manual Stretch Therapy, is a Group Exercise Instructor specializing in Cycling, Yoga, and Aqua and earned an Exercise Science degree.
“Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, starting in the outdoors with Hiking, Cycling, and Backpacking, I learned to take my outdoor fitness program inside during my offseason which quickly developed into coaching. My passions include empowering people to become aware of their movements and staying active through corrective exercises.”
Julie Steagall, Trainer, Massage Therapist and licensed Hypnotherapist
Julie received her first certification in water rehabilitation 28 years ago. Immediately after, she trained to specialize in stroke recovery. After a year of working exclusively with injuries in the water, Julie realized that fitness could be the best preventative medicine, so she trained and certified to teach water fitness.
Shortly after, she finished Massage school and became a Massage Therapist. Julie is also a licensed Hypnotherapist, a past- and forever- student of Emotional Anatomy, and Body Mechanics. The body often requires de-hypnotizing of learned, dysfunctional mechanics, in the same way the mind does, of programmed, dysfunctional behaviors.
“Life on this planet is a journey of healing. The process can be challenging, so we create community and make the journey together.”
